Published July 15, 2024

(BRAIN) — Pure Cycles has launched a new aluminum-framed gravel bike, the Adventure AL. It features a frame made of custom-butted Super Light X6 alloy tubes with "progressive adventure-ready geometry."

"Whether tackling rugged trails or cruising on varied terrain, this versatile bike ensures stability and comfort. It accommodates both 650b and 700c wheels, allowing you to choose tires up to 700 x 50c wide. Notable features include multiple bottle cage mounts on the seat tube and down tube, a top tube accessory mount, removable fender mounts, compatibility with 2x drivetrains and dropper posts, and rear rack mounts," the brand said.

The alloy frame is combined with a one-piece carbon monocoque fork with a tapered carbon steerer.  The fork has internal routing for brake and dynamo hub power cables, various accessory mounts, removable fender mounts, and a 12 x 100 mm thru-axle. The fork's 48/52 mm adjustable offset Flip-Chip allows riders to personalize their handling. The bike comes with a 180mm front brake rotor.

The bike features the SRAM Apex 1 1x11 drivetrain, a tubeless compatible wheelset, and TRP Spyre disc brakes. It has an alloy handlebar with a 12-degree flare and shallow drop.

MSRP is 1899.99. More information at jbi.bike/site/spotlight/adventure-al.
