EL PASO, Texas (BRAIN) — Handske Gloves introduces its custom painted cycling shoe program in partnership with Kyle Davenport Designs.
Davenport has customized shoes for the lifestyle category, and he will create designs called Handske by kdD. He will take creative requests — for road or mountain shoes — and develop them into a finished design.
There are two options:
- Option 1: Select from already created seasonal designs. This will range from two to three per season. Within this option, select from two choices: Send in your own pair or purchase from the available new shoes (current new shoe availability is limited). Adding a small personalization (i.e. your name) is available at an additional fee.
- Option 2: Full custom. In this option, you create the design. Tell us your ideas and one of our art advisors will mock it up with up to two revisions. Within this option, the same choices are available: Send in your own pair or purchase from available shoes.
All shoes feature Angelus paint and LK top-coat sealer.
Although Handske is developing its own shoe line, it's currently working with Specialized and Shimano for new shoe requests, with the goal of offering its own branded shoe in the second year of the program.
