QUOC offers new upper-end road shoe, the Mono II

LONDON (BRAIN) — QUOC has launched a new high-end road shoe to complement its previous models, which include touring and gravel shoes.

Currently available in the U.S. through online vendors, QUOC tells BRAIN it plans to begin distribution through brick-and-mortar bike shops in the U.S. next year.

The race-grade Mono II shoes feature a unidirectional, hand-laid carbon fiber sole and a dual dial closure system. A custom-molded lace guide allows for fast and intuitive tension adjustment, the brand says.

The footbed features a vibration-absorbing, ball-of-foot pressure point release, three arch-support options, and supportive heel padding. Additional enhancements include a two-piece, weather-resistant upper inherited from the brand's top-selling model, the Gran Tourer, and a supple, dovetail-padded tongue.

Available in two classic colorways: All White and All Black. Retail price is 270 pounds (about $370).  Available in sizes EU 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47. Weight is 249 grams in a size 43.
