XIAMENi, China (BRAIN) — Light Bicycle releases its first carbon gravel frameset in celebration of its 10-year anniversary.
The Journey was engineered to provide comfort and confidence on various terrain. It's designed with a tapered head tube and 12mm axle standard, with relaxed geometry (HTA 70 degree-70.8 degree).
The chainstays can accommodate tires as wide as 700×50c on all but the extra small (max tire size is 700×35c). The frame can accept 650b wheels and fit tires as wide as 2.0 inches (50c).
The front triangle features nine mounting points with additional space for a toptube bag, and the fork has mounts on both legs. The frame features internal cable routing and compatible with most common shifting systems (mechanical and electronic). The carbon fork sports a D-shape steerer tube to accommodate cable routing.
The Journey is available now for $1,300 through lightbicycle.com with a lead time of 6-8 weeks.
