OLNEY, Ill. (BRAIN) — Folding bike manufacturer Dahon has unveiled a new model designed as a transportation alternative during the COVID-19 pandemic.
With many discovering that cycling is a convenient and healthy way to commute in 2020, Dahon has responded with the HIT bike. The HIT has been strengthened to take on a wider range of riders by reinforcing the seat tube and completing the front triangle with Deltec cable. The 6061 alloy frame's warranty has been extended from five to 10 years. Riders up to 300 pounds can utilize the HIT.
Weighing 26.6 pounds and folding to 26x13.8x32.3 inches, the HIT features a nine-speed drivetrain and will be available this spring in "Glorious Red" and "Mystery Matte Black." MSRP will be announced.
