CatEye VOLT 1700 light has quick-change cartridge battery

Published October 1, 2018

BOULDER, Colo. (BRAIN) — The new VOLT 1700 light delivers 1,700 lumens on its highest setting with a two-hour run time and up to 15 hours on its lowest setting.

It also features a quick-change cartridge battery — riders can charge and pack a spare battery for longer rides and perform a simple swap without the use of tools due to a simple quick-release mechanism. A three-level battery indicator lets users know when it's time to swap.

The VOLT 1700 carries a minimum advertised price (MAP) of $239.95, and the quick-change cartridge batteries retail for $106.95 (MAP). Both are available through CatEye's exclusive U.S. distributor, J&B Importers, or direct from CatEye America.
