SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. (BRAIN) — Marking its 12th year in business, Lezyne has launched a new selection of accessories that includes the Storage Drive mini-tool, a new tubeless repair kit, and the Shop Floor Drive floor pump, which features integrated storage for tools in the pump handle.
Lezyne had initially planned to release only a handful of new products this year, but since the company has its own R&D and design teams in-house on California’s Central Coast, plus its own dedicated factory in Taiwan, it’s able to react more quickly to market trends and bring new accessories to market, said Dillon Clapp, Lezyne’s worldwide marketing manager.
“From when we first started planning our Year 12 line, instead of adding two of three products, we’re adding 20 or so,” he said.
New tools include the Storage Drive, a lightweight machined aluminum mini-tool that stores 4-, 5- and 6-millimeter hex bits and T25 and T30 Torx bits in the handle and includes a carry strap for universal mounting. An integrated magnet holds tool bits in place. The Storage Drive retails for $24.99.
Retailing for $19.99, the new Tubeless Kit includes five tire plugs and a tire reamer/insertion tool stored in a compact aluminum tube.
Available in a black or silver finish, the Shop Floor Drive pump houses Lezyne’s Power Lever tire levers and V5 multi-tool in the pump handle. It has an aluminum barrel and base and a 3.5-inch gauge for easy tire pressure reading. MSRP is $99.99.
The Storage Flow Drive composite matrix bottle cage integrates storage for a CO2 head and cartridges and the company’s new V16 or SV16 multi-tools, both of which feature a redesigned chain breaker and new magnetic quick link holder. It retails for $59.99.
The Year 12 line also includes a selection of new saddle and frame bags, LED headlights and tail lights and, for Lezyne’s hand pumps, a redesigned valve core hose with an integrated valve core tool.
