LOUISVILLE, Colo. (BRAIN) — Wheels Manufacturing is offering three new versions of its bottom brackets, to fit new crank and frame configurations. Each set has CNC-machined aluminum shells and is made in the U.S. They use Enduro bearings.
The new BBRight Outboard bottom bracket fits Cervélo's BBRight frames. The bottom bracket is available in SRAM and Shimano-compatible versions, with Angular Contact or ZERO Ceramic bearings. The AC bearing version retails for $99; the Ceramic version retails for $175.
The new BSA Threaded 30MM bottom bracket is for use on threaded frames and cranks with 30mm diameter spindles that are at least 100mm long. That includes current BB30 Wide cranks from Rotor, SRAM and others. It is available with ABEC-3 bearings ($55); Angular Contact bearings ($75) or Ceramic ($125).
The new BB86 Threaded is available in SRAM and Shimano versions. Angular Contact bearings are $99; ZERO Ceramic are $175.
