PORTLAND, OR (BRAIN) — Chris King's R45 disc brake hubs are now available in time for shops to build wheels for the upcoming cyclocross season.
The hubs feature a 6-bolt disc mount. The front hub has traditional 100 millimeter OLD spacing while the rear has 135 millimeter spacing. The hubs have Chris King's in-house-made stainless steel bearings that can be serviced with a 2.5 millimeter hex wrench and a penknife. King ceramic bearings also are available as an option.
The hubs are available in 11-speed Shimano/SRAM or Campagnolo cassette body options. The hubs are convertible from Shimano/SRAM to Campy by swapping Driveshells and axles.
The front and rear hubs are available in 28 and 32-hole options and in nine colors.
