MILL VALLEY, CA (BRAIN) — Easton likes to point out that its EA90 XD Disc CX wheelset is not a re-purposed road or 29er wheel, but rather a wheel designed from the start for cyclocross.
The wheels use Easton's proprietary tubeless rim design to hold certified tubeless 'cross tires at low pressures. The wider (17.5 mm) rim matches bigger volume cyclocross tires.
The wheels have six-bolt disc rotor mounts and Easton's M1 sealed cartridge bearing hubs, Sapim stainless straightpull spokes and Easton's alloy tubeless nipples.
