Published February 8, 2021

TAIPEI, Taiwan (BRAIN) — Organizers of the Taipei Cycle show have postponed the 2021 edition, which had been scheduled for March 3-6. They did not announce new dates for the show. Taipei Cycle online will be held as previously announced from March 3-31, the Taiwan External Trade Development Council said.

"Following on from the latest developments in the spread of COVID-19, the Taiwan Center for Disease Control currently recommends suspending or postponing large-scale public gatherings. TAITRA, the organizer of TAIPEI CYCLE & TaiSPO Show, has taken this recommendation into consideration, consulted with key stakeholders and related associations, and made the decision to prioritize public health and welfare at this time," TAITRA announced Monday.

TAIPEI CYCLE Online & TaiSPO Online will feature virtual booths, online meetings, online tours, as well as visitor demographic reports, while having parallel activities such as online press conferences, procurement meetings, forums, and video launches.

Over 300 exhibitor booths will be on display virtually, including SRAM, Shimano, Merida, and Giant.

TAITRA said show dates for the next physical shows will be announced soon. More information: taiwantradeshow.com.tw.
