GIVISIEZ, Switzerland (BRAIN) — Scott Sports is now occupying its new headquarters building here, a 7-level, 278,000-square-foot structure that houses 600 employees in the company's Bike, Winter, Moto and Running divisions.

Scott collaborated with Kvadrat DK and Price Industries to create a building that is billed as the "very first in Europe working with a system to control heating, ventilation and acoustics all at the same time."

The building uses geothermal and solar power.

"With this new building, we put Scott values at the core when starting this ambitious project from scratch. Sustainability and forward thinking, we strongly focused on incorporating the latest technologies available to once more position Scott as an innovation driver. Scott has been in Givisiez for 40 years, now with the new building we have successfully created the infrastructure to allow us to grow even further within the next 40 years," said Beat Zaugg, the CEO of Scott Sports.

The building boasts 50 meeting rooms as well as further casual meeting facilities, bike garages, fitness rooms and lockers accessible for employees. Construction began in June 2016.
