LUGANO, Switzerland (BRAIN) — Effetto Mariposa has hired Aspekt Brand Communications, a new PR and marketing firm headed by industry veteran Suzette Ayotte, to handle its public relations in the USA.
Known for its Caffelatex tire sealant and its Giustaforza torque wrenches, the Lugano-based brand has just launched Carogna, a double-adhesive tubular tape product that replaces glue.
"Effetto Mariposa recognizes the opportunity to gain North American marketshare particularly on the heels of interest in Carogna. We needed someone who understands brand exposure through both media engagement and influencers," said Alberto De Gioannini, EM's founder and product engineer.
"Caffelatex, the market leader in Italy in the sealant category, recently underwent a formula change, not only based on feedback from our professional sponsorships but also to ascertain that all of our products were of the highest quality," De Gioannini said.
Effetto Mariposa is distributed in the U.S. by Cantitoe Road, Quality Bicycle Products, Hawley USA, and Bicycle Technologies International.
