AUSTIN, Texas (BRAIN) — Woom kids bikes now are available at 30 REI Co-op locations and at 10 additional U.S. independent bike dealers.
Previously, woom bikes were available only at its Austin showroom headquarters and at retailer Buddy Pegs in Bentonville, Arkansas. Woom's dealer directory lists all of the REI and IBD locations.
Models available include a variety of woom's Original, Off, and Off Air bikes in select colors from $249 to $1,099. The models also will be available at REI.com.
"Over the past decade, we have connected with our customers at events across the country and sensed an eagerness to have more in-person experiences," said Mathias Ihlenfeld, woom's North American managing director. "We are confident woom's entry into REI and select IBDs will provide families in-person options to experience our brand, and we look forward to expanding our retail access in North America."
In June, the brand announced plans to expand its retail grasp. In February, woom named Doug Schmidt its North American sales leader. Schmidt had previous sales strategy experience at REI.
