LEXINGTON, S.C. (BRAIN) — HLC will become the exclusive North America distributor of Yuba Bikes, with cargo and e-cargo models and add-ons available on HLC's website in early May. HLC will offer a range of Yuba Bikes, including the Spicy Curry e-cargo bike, the Supercargo front loader, and a large range of add-ons.
HLC also opened its newest distribution center in Dallas on Monday, joining its other U.S. centers in Lexington; Sparks, Nevada; and Camp Hill, Pennsylvania.
"I can't think of anything more fun than adding cargo carrying capacity to an electric bike," said Pat McGinnis, HLC's president and CEO. "Just think of the possibilities. We are thrilled to be partnering with Yuba Bikes. Their commitment to healthy, adventurous and playful lifestyles is perfectly aligned with our own. We look forward to helping Yuba grow in North America and to make this exciting brand available to our customers."
Early this month HLC became the exclusive outside sales agency for Norco Bicycles in the U.S.
"We are thrilled to partner with HLC to expand our distribution in North America," said Benjamin Sarrazin, Yuba Bikes' CEO. "Their expertise in cycling distribution, combined with our innovative and functional bikes, will make it easier for more people to embrace the joy of cargo biking."
The Dallas distribution center will allow HLC to better serve retailers in the South-Central Region of the U.S.
“Simply put, we’re doing everything we can to make retailers’ lives easier,” McGinnis said. “The new Dallas distribution center is a result of our aggressive growth over the last few years. We have more IBDs, more brands, a larger sales team, and now more DCs than ever before. We’re excited to keep offering stronger solutions for our retailer and supplier partners.”
