SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, Calif. (BRAIN) — Emerald Expositions will debut The Outdoor Adventure X show next June at a Utah ski resort. The event will include outdoor product demos for cycling, camping, climbing, hiking, watersports and more.

The show will take place June 16-18 at Snowbasin Resort in Huntsville. It will include consumer educational and advocacy programs, live music, films, food, and family activities. The nearby Pineview Reservoir will host on-water demos, and the Anderson Cove Campground will offer overnight camping and glamping.

Outdoor Adventure X is a collaboration between the new Xcelerator division of Emerald and Lodestone Events, producers of the Overland Expos event series. The show is scheduled for the weekend before Emerald's Outdoor Retailer summer trade show, scheduled for June 19-21 in Salt Lake City. Besides Outdoor Retailer, Emerald continues to own Interbike, which has not been held since 2018.

Outdoor Retailer attendees will have free access to Outdoor Adventure X on June 18 for an industry day.

"We're looking forward to the debut of Outdoor Adventure X next year and to offering outdoor brands new ways to engage one-on-one with consumers through enhanced experiential, educational, and advocacy opportunities," said Jeff Davis, Emerald group vice president. "Building upon the incredible surge in outdoor participation and growth of the $689 billion U.S. outdoor industry, this public event will provide creative avenues for brands to launch and test products, and for the local and Salt Lake communities and out-of-state visitors alike to experience the joys of outdoor adventure. We're excited to work with Lodestone to bring this festival to life."

Snowbasin Resort is located 45 minutes north of Salt Lake City and offers outdoor recreation throughout the year. At Snowbasin, Outdoor Adventure X attendees will have gondola access to hiking, mountain biking, and a variety of trails.

More details on Outdoor Adventure X will be available later this year, including information for manufacturers, nonprofit organizations, and educational speakers to get involved, as well as consumer ticketing and camping packages.
