MIAMISBURG, Ohio (BRAIN) — United Wheels Inc. has integrated an option into two of its bicycle brands' checkout pages that will offer e-commerce customers professional assembly options through Beeline Connect.
The assembly option for VAAST Bikes, beginning in July, and Batch Bicycles, in August, will be offered through hundreds of local bike shops nationwide who use the Beeline Connect platform.
VAAST and Batch added the Beeline Connect Dynamic Dealer Locator to websites earlier this year to allow United Wheels to manage and display dealer locations.
"We saw exceptional growth in 2020 and that trend has continued into 2021," said Morten Kristiansen, general manager of UWI Specialty Retail Business. "Beeline Connect provides us a platform to support our growth momentum, direct new customers to a local dealer, and ensure that every new Batch and VAAST owner has a positive riding experience the very first day they receive their bicycle."
Beeline Connect gives the pickup date for each applicable local bicycle shop that provides professional assembly. The platform also provides automated email and text messaging, and payment reconciliation.
