SQUAMISH, British Columbia (BRAIN) — 7mesh Cycling Apparel opened a new distribution center in the United Kingdom.
The facility is located east of London in Thurrock. 7mesh is working with third-party partner Tigers Global Logistics and said it now is shipping all UK retailer and consumer orders from the facility without needing customs paperwork.
Tigers Global Logistics now manages three 7mesh distribution centers.
"Tigers has been a great partner for us as a global brand, supporting us since our launch in 2015," said Calum Davidson, 7mesh VP of operations. "We've been able to work together quickly to pivot post-Brexit and set up this warehouse to support our ongoing business in the UK and future growth."
The UK is regarded as an important market for 7mesh, based in Squamish, British Columbia, said General Manager John Zopfi.
"Making this investment helps ensure that 7mesh fans and partners in the UK will continue to be able to order from dedicated in-country inventory and pay in GBP with no duty or import costs added on."
7mesh manufacturers chamois shorts and tights, shirts and jerseys, trail shorts and pants, and jackets and thermals for gravel, road, and mountain bike use.
