Fit Kit Systems to distribute Form bike-fitting products in the US

Published December 11, 2020

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (BRAIN) — Fit Kit Systems is now distributing cleat shims and wedges and in-shoe wedges from UK-based Form Bikefit.

By coincidence, the announcement comes about a week after QBP announced that it had purchased Bike Fit, a U.S. company that offers cleat shims and wedges along with other fitting tools and services. QBP has taken over the distribution of Bike Fit products to U.S. and Canadian dealers.

Form was launched by UK bike fitter Ronan Descy four years ago.

Fit Kit will begin distributing Form products in early 2021. Descy said his company also is expanding distribution in Europe. "Form is not just about products. I want the products to be supported with a high level of service from someone who is passionate about bike fitting, understands the products, and can quickly fulfill orders and have them in the fitters' hands," he said.

Fit Kit Systems will be offering bulk quantities at wholesale pricing through their B2B e-commerce site, as well as small kits for end-users at retail pricing.

The product range includes 3- and 4-hole road shims and wedges, 2-hole MTB shims and wedges, in-shoe forefoot and heel wedges, and screw kits of varied lengths.

Descy said both variants of road shim have recently been redesigned and updated, as has the product packaging. He said an updated version of Form's "walkable" MTB shim is due for release at the end of March.
