PeopleForBikes Business Network plans webinars on COVID-19 and e-bike legislation

BOULDER, Colo. (BRAIN) — PeopleForBikes will hold a webinar Thursday, March 12, to help industry businesses prepare for the COVID-19 outbreak.

"We want to make sure that the bike industry takes the proper steps to prepare. As leaders of your companies, you're responsible for ensuring that these decisions are handled calmly and without alarm. Understanding the news and political landscape surrounding COVID-19 will help protect you and your business," the organization said. The webinar is part of its Business Network program.

It will discuss what is happening in Washington, D.C., and how some policy issues of interest to the bike industry may be shelved as the virus becomes the top focus of the federal government.

"We'll also discuss best practices and tips shared from bike companies in the U.S. and what to expect going forward," PeopleForBikes said. This webinar will be 30 minutes long with 10 minutes available for Q+A at the end. The webinar is at 2 p.m. MT Thursday, it will be 30 minutes long with 10 minutes for Q&A at the end. Register.

The Business Network also is hosting a webinar on "Everything E-bikes" next Wednesday, March 18 at 1 p.m.

"Wondering where e-bike and e-MTB laws and regulations stand this year? Next Wednesday's webinar will cover the latest in e-bike sales and demographic trends. Additionally, we'll review on- and off-road policies that have recently been updated," the organization said. The e-bike webinar also will be 30 minutes long with 10 minutes available for Q&A at the end. Register.
