MONTREAL, Quebec (BRAIN) — Dorel Industries’ earnings for the fourth quarter and all of 2013 in its recreational and leisure segment — which includes Cannondale, GT, Mongoose, Schwinn and Dorel’s mass-market bike brands — will come in lower than a year earlier due to “a poorer product mix” and late order delivery at Cycling Sports Group, the company announced.
OSAKA, Japan (BRAIN) — Unfavorable weather in Europe and North America was countered by strong sales in China and a growing service parts business in all markets to drive Shimano’s sales 10 percent higher in 2013 to $2.68 billion (271.037 billion yen).

SCOTTS VALLEY, CA (BRAIN) — Fox Factory Holding Corp. reported that sales for the third quarter increased by $9.4 million, or 12.9 percent, to $82.3 million, compared with the same period last year. The growth was largely driven by mountain bike and powered-vehicle suspension products.
SCOTTS VALLEY, CA (BRAIN) — Easton-Bell Sports' cycling product sales declined $4.5 million in the quarter that ended Sept. 28, and CEO Terry Lee indicated much of the loss came from the Easton cycling division, which he called "troubled."
