FARMINGTON, Utah (BRAIN) – Vista Outdoor, parent of Camelbak, Giro, Bell, Bushnell and other brands, posted sales of $684 million for the second quarter of its fiscal 2017. That's up 24 percent from the prior-year quarter. The results included $106 million from recent acquisitions.
SAN MATEO, Calif. (BRAIN) — GoPro Inc. on Thursday reported a worse-than-expected loss for its third quarter and forecast fourth-quarter revenue below market expectations as production issues hampered availability of the newly launched Karma drone and Hero5 Black premium action camera heading into the important holiday sales period.
MONTREAL (BRAIN) — Dorel's bike division reported a drop in third-quarter revenue of $15.8 million, or 5.9 percent, and a year-to-date revenue decrease of $42.8 million, or 5.7 percent. Revenue for the quarter totaled $250.7 million, while year-to-date revenue was $703.7 million.
SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif. (BRAIN) — Fox Factory Holding Corp. said its sales increased 2.7 percent to $109 million in the third quarter, compared with $106.2 million in the same period last fiscal year.
MALMO, Sweden (BRAIN) — The company pointed to three factors for the sales decline in the American region.
OSAKA, Japan (BRAIN) — Shimano pointed to weak sales in Southeast Asia, Japan, China and South America as contributors to another steep decline in bike product sales. The company’s sales through the first nine months of this year were down 18.8 percent according to figures released this week.
SALT LAKE CITY (BRAIN) — Vista Outdoor saw sales increase to $630 million in its second quarter, as revenue from its new acquisitions of Bell, Giro, Jimmy Styks and CamelBak kicked in.

SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif. (BRAIN) — Fox Factory Holding Corp. saw sales increase 5.3 percent to $102.3 million in its second quarter, compared to $97.2 million in the same period last fiscal year. Gross margin increased 90 basis points to 31.6 percent over last year.
SCHAFFHAUSEN, Switzerland (BRAIN) — Garmin stocks hit a 52-week high on Wednesday after earnings and revenue far exceeded analyst expectations for the first half. The company also raised its guidance for the second half.
SAN MATEO, Calif. (BRAIN) — GoPro announced a second quarter sales decline of 47 percent this week, along with a loss of nearly $92 million, after reporting a profit last year in the same period.
HELSINKI (BRAIN) — Amer Sports' cycling segment grew 20 percent in the second quarter this year thanks to the addition of Enve sales, which joined Mavic in the segment.
