RICHMOND, Calif. - July 9th, 2024 - Cleary Bikes (https://www.clearybikes.com), the engineering and design company specializing in kids' bikes, is proud to announce its partnership with the Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship (SBTS) supporting the 2024 Earn-a-Bike program.

The Earn-a-Bike Program promotes youth engagement in trail stewardship through multi-day trail building for kids under 12. Upon completion of the program, each participant  "earned" a new 24" Cleary Scout mountain bike, designed and built for youth mountain bike progression.

“We are incredibly proud of our partnership with SBTS and deeply respect their work, which includes building world-class trails and consistent community engagement through events including the Quincy Epics, Lost and Found, and Downieville Classic,” said Jeff Cleary, Founder of Cleary Bikes. “We are honored to provide our new 24” Scout bikes for the Earn-a-Bike Program and showcase the entire line at Downieville Classic. We share the same vision of getting more kids on bikes and living the mountain biking culture.”

“Our unwavering commitment to building sustainable recreation-based communities through stewardship, job creation, and world-class events allow the SBTS to align with like-minded brands that share the spirit of riding and community,” said Kyle Stone, Program Director, SBTS. “The partnership with Cleary Bikes makes sense on all levels, there’s nothing better than getting kids out riding and excited about the trails and the community.”

The Earn-a-Bike Program is a new initiative for SBTS and Cleary Bikes is the primary sponsor.

The first SBTS Earn-a-Bike program was held on April 28, 2024 with four kids receiving their new Scout mountain bikes. Cleary Bikes is proud to partner with the SBTS and looks forward to a long relationship with the storied non-profit. Cleary Bikes will be at the Downieville Classic with a full fleet of demo bikes, providing attendees with children a family-friendly activity during the event.
