SP Connect Hires Rep Groups Across the Country

San Clemente, California (June 5, 2023) – SP CONNECT –the world's most versatile smartphone mounting system and industry innovator across bike, motorcycle, sport, and lifestyle - is thrilled to announce the hiring of Northeastern Specialty Sports Group (NESS), RideRep Sales Group Inc and BP Associates (BP).  This initial expansion adds 18 independent bicycle reps across the country.  

 NESS is run and operated by industry veteran George Frick.  NESS has been servicing bike dealers since 2000 and will be covering the Northeast and parts of the Mid-West.  Walter Driscoll (ME, NH and MA) and Jim Grimley (MA, NH, VT, RI and CT) cover the New England area.  Chip Ellison (IN, KY and OH) and Casey Hague (MI, Northern IN) cover the Mid-West.  Wayne Foose will cover New Jersey and Eastern PA while Robert Lichtenstein will handle New York.

 RideRep Group is led by industrytrailblazer Derek Melberg.  RideRep brings a ton of collective experience averaging over 22 years between the 6 of them.  Mike Sapione covers Orange County and Riverside County, CA while Ian Gross covers Los Angeles/San Louis Obispo/Bakersfield, CA.  Kurt Kunoth handles San Diego and Las Vegas areas while Chris Manny covers AZ and NM.  

 BP Associates is run by industry professional Ben Gonnerman.  BP was founded in 1980 and covers the Mid-West.  Scottie Mcelroy covers MO, KS, NE, IA.  William Wagner covers WI, E.IA, U.P. MI.  Jon Sauer covers MN, ND, SD.  Peter Szabo works in the Illinois and Metro St. Louis.  Matthew Blevins handles MN, ND, SD, NE, IA, KS, MO.

 This is the first step in SP CONNECT’s plan to extend their dealer and distributor support across the country.  “We are growing, and I couldn’t be happier with the team that we are building,” said Brian Valverde, North American Sales Manager of SP CONNECT.  “Our next step is to hire more sales reps to cover the gaps in Northern California, Rockies (CO, UT), Northwest and Southeast territories.”
