Former elite cyclist, team owner and brand rep brings a wealth of experience to Enduro’s marketing team; will manage ambassadors and events

Oakland, California (January 25, 2022) — Enduro Bearings, a leading manufacturer of innovative cycling bearings and bearing-related components, is proud to announce the hiring of Kurt Stockton as the brand's Ambassadors & Events Program Manager. Kurt will play a key role in the company's ongoing efforts to raise awareness of Enduro Bearings' renowned line of products through traditional marketing, and a beefed-up ambassador network which includes pro athletes, teams and even a new mechanic ambassador program.

"As we roll into 2022, we're excited to have Kurt Stockton aboard our marketing team," says Rick Sutton, Enduro's Business Development and Marketing Director. "He brings a metric ton of experience, and I am certain our market presence will only get better with Kurt 'behind the wheel' of Enduro's field marketing and ambassador team car."

Stockton brings an extensive cycling industry résumé to the Enduro marketing team. A true all-rounder, he raced professionally on pavement and dirt in the 1980s and 1990s with highlights that included earning the stars and stripes jersey as the winner of the 1990 U.S. Professional Road Race Championships. Kurt then became the owner/manager of the Sierra Nevada Pro Cycling Team, where he worked closely with SRAM on the introduction of their first Force road group of components. He has since continued in various roles with brands and teams in the industry, and is eager to bring his pedigree to Enduro, managing relationships with the company's athletes, teams, events and ambassadors.

"I am thrilled to join the Enduro Bearings team," Stockton says. "Since the brand's inception, it has developed so many products that have helped advance bicycle bearing performance and durability. I am excited to help Enduro's spread the word while also helping our ambassador athletes and mechanics perform at their best."

In addition to sponsoring pro athletes like Geoff Kabush and Katarina Nash, and the Wildlife Generation team, among many others, Enduro's ambassador program will support select professional mechanics across the U.S. More to come soon on this innovative program.
