August 1, 2020 Santa Fe, NM – After careful consideration, leading US technical products distributor Bicycle Technologies International (BTI) is again offering spring dating payment terms for dealers extending through the end of April, 2021.
With inventories running lean due to this summer's surge in demand, the company had reason to delay offering their buy now, pay later plan until stock levels improved. Instead, BTI is responding with its longest terms ever, starting with Net 240 through the month of August. The generous spring dating program is packaged as part of the company's popular Margin Booster program, which provides continuing discounts to dealers on 50+ of the most popular brands, dubbed "Hero Brands".
BTI's spring dating is available to every customer with net terms, starting on the first day of the program. Through smart use of Margin Booster's extended terms, shops can sell more during the off season without tying up cash. This frees up additional funds to invest in your store in preparation for the upcoming season. Alternatively, shops can take advantage of BTI's improved anticipation discounts to further enhance margins.
"Admittedly, stock levels are not where we'd like them to be at this moment in time," says Preston Martin, BTI President. "To remedy this, BTI has been writing the biggest POs in the company's history," he says. "We are betting big that the Bike Boom will continue into 2021. This is an unprecedented opportunity for the entire supply chain, working together, to increase cycling participation at every level."
