Customers can upgrade to ENVE and receive credit for stock wheels

June 2, 2020 – Ogden, Utah, USA – ENVE is ratcheting up the excitement of “new bike day” with the New Bike Upgrade program that provides a credit for stock wheels when a customer upgrades to an ENVE SES, M Series, G Series, or Foundation Collection wheels at the time of a bike purchase from a qualifying dealer. The program is a first of its kind and provides up to an $800 credit for the stock wheels when making the ENVE upgrade.

Regardless of whether it’s a road, gravel, or mountain bike, a wheel upgrade is the biggest improvement you can make for the money on a new bike. Wheels are almost always under-spec’d in an OEM build even though they arguably make the biggest difference in weight, performance, and the ride quality of a bike. With the New Bike Upgrade program, customers can choose from any ENVE wheel model for the upgrade in order to roll out of the shop with a bike that exceeds their ride performance expectations.

"The process of upgrading a new bike purchase at the local bike store has been in practice for years," said Ronnie Points, ENVE US Commercial Director. "With our New Bike Upgrade Program, we looked at ways to simplify pricing for the customer as well as the inventory process for our dealers. The cost to upgrade a new bike with the ENVE New Bike Upgrade will save a significant amount of money compared to upgrading later down the road."

ENVE’s Trade-In, Trade-Up program was the catalyst for the New Bike Upgrade since a large number of wheels received back were brand new take-offs. Creating this program in conjunction with the dealers makes for a seamless customer experience, while also providing a greater value given to the stock wheelset than if they were to be sold aftermarket.

All makes and models of bikes qualify for the New Bike Upgrade as long as it is brand new and purchased through one of ENVE’s qualifying dealers. Credit value is determined based on whether the stock wheels are alloy or carbon, and which model ENVE wheels are being upgraded to.
