SEATTLE  Inc. magazine Wedneseday revealed that Rad Power Bikes is No. 63 on its annual 5000 list, the prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies.

Many well-known names  including Microsoft, Dell, Domino’s pizza, Pandora, and Timberland  gained their first national exposure as honorees on the list.

“This is an exciting milestone and a testament to our talented team and passionate community of owners,” said Mike Radenbaugh, founder and CEO of Rad Power Bikes. “We started out wanting to build e-bikes, and are now building a company that’s helping to change the way people and businesses move.”

The global e-bike brand grew its revenue more than 4,400% over the last three years through its thriving consumer-direct business model, rapid international expansion into Canada and Europe, and launch of a dedicated commercial division. The Seattle-based company quickly became North America’s largest e-bike brand by taking a value-innovation approach to designing powerful, durable, and affordable e-bikes backed by unprecedented customer support.

The 2019 Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth between 2015 and 2018. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2015, and independent as of Dec. 31, 2018.

Ranked within the top 100 companies, Rad Power Bikes will be featured in the September issue of Inc., available on newsstands on Aug. 20.
