Folding bike brand streamlines supply chain for global orders
Olney, Illinois, January 22, 2018 – DAHON, pioneers in green mobility, have today announced plans to streamline their supply and distribution chain for global orders through new Approved Third-party Manufacturer Program (ATM Program).
The new program will mean that DAHON's major customers may now buy directly from an Approved Third-party Manufacturer, having only to purchase special/patented parts from DAHON at a nominal cost, along with components from other suppliers approved by DAHON.
DAHON have launched the ATM program in Europe, with plans to make the program available to countries worldwide in the coming months. The move aims to better facilitate local spec variations and compliance with the 60/40 rule, as well as improving efficiency. Under the new plans DAHON customers and distributors will work directly with DAHON for purchasing, service and the like. This new streamlined approach to global distribution will offer lower price structures to DAHON partners as well as improved services and more consistent policies across the board.
