PHOENIX (BRAIN) — Edco Engineering BV has announced that carbon innovator Paul Lew will join the Swiss component company as a partner. Lew will expand and build Edco’s line of cycling components, including its carbon and alloy wheels. He will work alongside CEO and owner Rob van Hoek, who purchased the company in 2007.

LONDON (BRAIN) — Unior Bike Tools is now the official partner of four UCI WorldTour teams: Etixx-Quick Step, Movistar,  Trek– Segafredo and, now, Team Sky. Mechanics from these teams use Unior tools and are involved in the development of new and improved products.

SAN FRANCISCO  (BRAIN) — Timbuk2 has made four key executive appointments, saying the new hires signal "a new era in leadership" at the company. The new hires include Azul Couzens who was most recently the director of marketing at BRG Sports. Couzens is joining Timbuk2 as head of marketing.
